In the midst of the fight against robocalls, many companies are attempting to find solutions to prevent customers from becoming the next victim.
Recently Google announced that they will help Nexus and Android One users flag spam robocalls, while Samsung and T-Mobile teamed up with Hiya, the caller ID and calling blocking app, to provide protection.
“The app, which recently spun off from Caller ID service Whitepages, not only identifies spam robocalls but automatically blocks them as well,” said Maureen Mahoney of Consumers Union about Hiya.
