Much like the rest of the global community, Team Hiya is deeply concerned about the Russian invasion of Ukraine. We stand with the millions of people who are suffering as a result of the violence in Ukraine and condemn the offensive operations and attacks on Ukrainians. We also applaud the actions of governments and businesses across the globe that have sanctioned Russia or stopped conducting business in Russia.
While Hiya does not have any commercial operations in Russia, we do have several hundred thousand Hiya users inside Russia. Effective today, we have made the decision to disable our services in Russia until Russia has ceased its invasion of Ukraine and violence against Ukrainians.
Team Hiya will continue to find ways to step up and support Ukraine. We encourage you all to do the same.
