Our monthly blog series spotlights one outstanding Hiyan to share more about our team and get a glimpse of what it’s like to work at Hiya. Every aspect of our employees, both inside and outside of work, makes our team special.
This month, we’re featuring Linda Te, senior sales development representative at Hiya. Linda is based in Seattle, Washington. Read on to discover Linda’s impact at Hiya and what makes her a vital Hiya community member.
I was interested in working at Hiya because of the solution itself, its simplicity, and its value. Additionally, I wanted to be in a fast-growing environment where I could make an impact.
I am a senior sales development representative.
What I enjoy most about working at Hiya is the warm and welcoming work culture. I always look forward to the days I get to go into the office and chat with everyone about work and life.
The qualities of a perfect teammate are those who are respectful, supportive, and reliable.
A memorable moment at Hiya was when there wasn’t any room at the sales/marketing lunch table, and I was sitting at the engineering table myself. However, a coworker immediately pulled up a chair and made room for me to sit with everyone else. This gesture underscored the deeply ingrained culture of teamwork and inclusivity at Hiya, where everyone is made to feel respected and welcomed.
Hiya helped me grow and become a better salesperson. I constantly get feedback from my manager and peers to improve my calls with clients. We also have weekly sales development sessions in which I learn different sales tactics.
